The SISC I Workers’ Compensation JPA now offers the specialty services of Safety and Loss Control. SISC I is proud to incorporate the following services through our department.
Injury Prevention: The department provides hands-on service to member districts to help reduce the frequency and severity of losses by conducting accident investigations, workstation evaluations, and job task observations. Staff is available to meet with district personnel to help determine incident causation and recommend corrective action.
Return to Work (Industrial Injuries): Staff is available to assist with the implementation of light duty/return-to-work programs and can work with district personnel to help assess temporary employee placement/task options.
Policy Development Programs: The department develops and promotes policies and programs relating to employee safety.
Regulatory Compliance: Staff provides resources for compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
Training Resources: Multiple training resources are available to help facilitate employee training. Staff is available to assist districts with instructor facilitated training
